Sandra Marquez

Sandra can currently be seen in New York in the Second Stage world premiere production of Mala Hierba. Sandra is a longtime ensemble member of Teatro Vista and for which she served as Associate Artistic Director from 1998 - 2006. Some of her most recent acting credits include 26 Miles (Teatro Vista and Rivendell Theater Ensemble), The Happiest Song Plays Last, Boleros for the Disenchanted (The Goodman Theater), Mojada (Victory Gardens Theater) and The Motherfu**er with the Hat (Steppenwolf Theater).

Her directing credits include Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner by Luis Alfaro and the Jeff nominated production of Our Lady of the Underpass by Tanya Saracho.

Ms. Marquez is a proud union member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA. She received Jeff nominations for acting in 26 Miles and Living Out (Teatro Vista and American Blues Theater). She has worked in many industrial films and national commercials and her film and tv credits include Timer, Stranger than Fiction, Prison Break, Chicago Code, Big Bang Theory and Boss. She has been a member of the theater faculty at Northwestern University since 1995.
