In the Time of the Butterflies will play at The Biograph Theater at Victory Gardens. We perform in the intimate and beautiful Richard Christiansen Theatre.

Take the Fullerton Avenue exits off of 1-94 or Lake Shore Drive. Proceed west to Lincoln Ave. and turn right. The Biograph Theatre is on the right.
VIA PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
By El: The Fullerton El is the closest train stop. It is accessible by the Red, Brown, and Purple lines.
By Bus: Halsted (#8), Fullerton (#74) and Sedgwick/Ogden (#37) buses all stop near the theater.
Parking for Victory Gardens patrons is available at Children’s Memorial Hospital located at 2316 N. Lincoln, 1/2-block south of Fullerton. 100 free spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Valet parking is provided at the Biograph by Lake Shore Valet for $12, one hour before curtain. Valet is not available for our weekday matinees or weekend morning performances.
Metered street parking is available on Lincoln, Fullerton, and Halsted

Food & Drink
Victory Gardens offers a delicious selection of hot and cold drinks, freshly baked cookies as well as a host of other snacks to enjoy before the show or at intermission. Our concessions bar is open one hour prior to curtain. We encourage you to pre-order your food and drink items to have them waiting for you at intermission.
Lost & Found
Please check with our House Manager during the performance. After a performance if you need to check on an item please call our Lost and Found at (773) 871-3000 and someone will return your call.
Before the show or at intermission we invite you to pursue our merchandise. You’ll find eclectic gifts for everyone—VG clothing, mugs, CD’s as well as scripts and books by members of our Playwrights Ensemble.
Accommodation of Latecomers
Latecomers are seated at the discretion of the house manager, which may be as late as intermission. Latecomers may be denied admission depending on the demands or structure of a particular production, so please be sure to allow enough time to arrive, park and be seated before show time. Should you need to leave the theater during a performance, re-admittance and seating will be at the discretion of the house manager so as not to disturb the audience and performers.
To ensure an enjoyable experience for all, children under the age of 6 will not be admitted to Victory Gardens productions, unless otherwise advertised. Please read the content advisories on each show page to determine if a particular show is suitable for your child.
Please silence all electronic devices including cellular phones, watches and pagers before the performance.
Cameras and Recording Devices are strictly prohibited in the theatre.
Please check these items with the House Manager and turn off your camera phone.
For an emergency while you are at Victory Gardens please contact the House Manager.
If you need to be reached due to an emergency, please leave your phone or pager with the house manager along with your name and seat location, so as not to disturb the other patrons. This will help us to locate you quickly in the case of an emergency. In case of an emergency contact the Box Office at (773) 871-3000.
Food, Beverages and Smoking
Food and beverages are available in the lower level. Beverages are permitted in the seating area, but food is not.
Smoking is prohibited in the Biograph.
